Like many women you probably know what it is like to make for the nearest chair when you enter a room so as to not draw anyone's attention. Because of their weight many women are humiliated but below are some tips that might help you regain your self-confidence.

First of all, never wear clothes that do not fit properly. It is not possible to look good wearing a top that is meant for women 50 pounds lighter than you are. Instead visit your local clothing store that carries clothes for plus-sized women only. You will be sure to find a great outfit that will help to boost your self-image. Everyone knows that when you look good you feel great.

Secondly you should tell your reflection in the mirror, every single day, that you love yourself. It does not matter how overweight you may be remember that you are created in the image of God and He loves you irrespective of your weight. You can love yourself too. I'm honored to know many overweight women who are excellent examples of confident women who do not let the opinions of other bother them. Many people, including men, find this attractive and love to be near them.

And finally it is important that you realize that nobody else cares about your weight nearly as much as you do. If you are tired of diets that do not work and you are concerned about your health then you need to really commit yourself to losing the weight. Invest in a weight loss plan and stick to it. If you do that along with some walking three times a week you will see the results you want. Losing weight is not only good for self-confidence, it is also necessary for good health.
